RODRIGO FONSECA Depois de ter anunciado uma homenagem a Tom Cruise, com "Top Gun: Maverick" e uma sessão de "Elvis", de Baz Luhrmann, o Festival de Cannes mobilizou o mundo cinéfilo na manhã desta quinta ao anunciar as atrações (sobretudo aquelas em disputa pela Palma de Ouro) de sua 75ª edição, agendada de 17 a 28 de maio, na França. O título de abertura será "Z (Comme Z)", um metafilme de zumbis de Michel Hazanavicius (oscarizado por "O Artista", em 2012). Entram em mostras paralelas "Three Thousand Years of Longing", de George Miller; "Novembre", de Cédric Jimenez (com o oscarizado Jean Duajrdin); "Esterno Notte", de Marco Bellocchio (um telefilme sobre as Brigadas Vermelhas); e episódios da série de vampiros "Irma Vep", de Olivier Assayas. E não poderia ficar de fora (por razões políticas, em controvérsia à guerra deflagrada pela Rússia) o novo longa-metragem do diretor ucraniano Sergei Loznitsa: "The Natural History of Destruction". Na competição, medalhões como a francesa Claire Denis, o canadense David Cronenberg e o polonês Jerzy Skolimowsky estão de volta, ao lado de novas promessas como o belga Lukas Dhont e o iraniano radicado na Suécia Ali Abbasi, além da já bem respeitada Kelly Reichardt, dos EUA. Um dos filmes em concurso, "Armageddon Time", do americano James Gray, teve como produtor o brasileiro Rodrigo Teixeira, da RT Features.
